Servus! Head to The Club at Andrews and celebrate the arrival of autumn the German way at our FREE annual JBA Oktoberfest! Try your hand at hammerschlagen, axe-throwing, and German crafts while waiting for your chance to compete in our stein-hoisting and best dressed competitions. Hearts Apart Family Night | Thu 21 Sep
Hearts Apart Monthly Family Nights every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Military and Family Readiness Center. Hearts Apart events are for families/dependents of recently deployed service members. *Deployed includes those with orders for 30+ days, remote tours, and includes those returned in the last 6 months. Time: 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Spouse Employment Symposium | Sat 30 Sep
In partnership with the Andrews Spouses' Club, we will provide an overview of MSEP, my SECO, and other employment programs to support military spouses in their job search. Plus, learn from guest speakers from Military OneSource, Civilian Personnel, the Human Resources Office, and more! Light lunch will be provided. Prepare for your upcoming move with our Relocation Assistance Program and hear from TMO, Finance, MPF, Tri-Care, MFLC, EFMP, financial prep for moving, and relocation resources from Military OneSource. Bundles For Babies | Thu 5 Oct
This workshop is designed to teach soon-to-be and new parents basic parenting skills, as well as financial skills to help parents budget for their new baby. Active duty members and their spouses are welcome to attend. After completion of the course, parents will receive a gift card from AFAS (only Air Force, Navy and Marines). Only 45 minutes from our nation’s capitol is one of America’s most historic cities, the Maryland State Capitol of Annapolis. While you are here, enjoy some tasty Maryland crab for lunch at one of the many amazing dockside restaurants! After learning the colonial history of the area via a walking tour, we’ll go into the Naval Academy for an exclusive tour behind the scene with trained military tour guides! Shenandoah Fall Foliage Hike at White Oak Canyon | Sat 14 Oct
Fall is here! Breathe in some fresh air, hit the trail, and see the fall colors at Shenandoah National Park. Following an occasionally steep trail, we'll hike 6 miles at a brisk pace, gaining about 2,000' of elevation along the way, while learning all about the surrounding ecosystem. Minimum age: 12 yrs (participants under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult). Time: 8:00am–6:00pm. Location: Lower Whiteoak Canyon Fee Station (87 Chad Berry Ln, Syria, VA 22743). Price: $25 for Active Duty, Spouses, and Dependents, and $35 for Retired, Veterans, and DoD Civilians. Transportation, Panera catered lunch, guide and equipment included. *Sign-up deadline: 28 Sep. Get Golf Ready
Get Golf Ready programs will teach you to play golf in just a few lessons. Get professional instruction and combine fun, friends and the great outdoors! Each session will focus on various golf skills you will use while playing. A minimum of 4 participants will be needed for each group, with a maximum of 6. *Dates for Session #2 are: 21 & 28 Aug and 11, 18 & 25 Sep. Dates for Session #3 are: 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 Oct. Participants can only attend classes on the dates listed with their chosen Session. Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm for all sessions/dates. Cost: $150.
