The Military & Family Support Center assists individuals with researching and reaching their career goals. We provide employment skills training and resources to prepare you for your job search with resume writing, local job market information, and so much more! We can help you learn about the MD, VA and Washington DC local area, state and federal job markets, and how to find job sources if you are PCSing, retiring or separating. Open to all DoD ID card holders, including DoD civilians and their family members offers support to individuals in achieving short and long-term employment, by referring for education/training, and obtaining career goals in the private and public sectors. Services also include:

Tips for Federal Employment:  Using the USAJOBS website may seem overwhelming at times. Learn to navigate the site, create and manage your account, and analyze job announcements. Receive tips on how to create a federal resume.Facilitated Virtually Via Zoom.

Resume Development 101:  Workshop teaches attendees how to write an effective and competitive private sector resume. Discusses resume components, resume types and how to organize your experience in order to highlight your skills. Facilitated Virtually Via Zoom.

Spouse Employment Workshops: Overview of MSEP, mySECO, and other employment programs to support military spouses in their job search. Spouse preference program and Spouse Reimbursement for Re-licensure / Re-certification.
